Susan is in charge of the firm's media strategy services. She has successfully developed a distinct reputation as a nationally recognized expert in public relations and media strategy. Susan specializes in helping clients, large and small, to capture positive public attention in the media and secure niche-market positioning, high-profile visibility and journalistic credibility. She has a proven record of developing leads and obtaining placements in print and electronic media that have created positive, newsworthy stories for her clients. Prior to starting her own firm in Scottsdale in 1992, she was publicist for PBS' The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour where she was responsible for positioning the anchors of the prestigious program with other national media outlets. Before that, Susan was a publicist for CBS Television Entertainment where she was responsible for pitching media reviews of new programs for prime time entertainment and creating the CBS Press Guide for all network anchors and talent. She also has worked as a publicist for some well-known firms such as Hill and Knowlton and Foote, Cone & Belding. Susan received a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from New York University, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She spent most of her professional life in Manhattan before making Arizona her new home. Susan is a member of the Phoenix Committee On Foreign Relations and Arizona Business Leadership.
Udayan serves as a New York-based consultant to Gitenstein
& Assadi Public Relations regarding venture capital contacts and high-level
business press. Udayan holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard College and a M.S. in Film from Boston University. He completed advanced studies in film at New York University. He received a Bagehot Fellowship in Business and Economic Journalism from Columbia University in 1981.Udayan is on the board of UCLA’s Entrepreneurial Education Program supported by the Kauffman Foundation.
Marilyn has more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, marketing communications, product management, operations, and customer service for US and international markets in software and high technology industries. She is president of MGT Associates, LLC, a management consulting firm helping companies to drive increased revenues through results-oriented strategies integrating sales, marketing and product development into a cohesive strategy. A Wharton MBA, Marilyn is an executive committee member of the Arizona chapter of AeA (American Electronics Association), a faculty member for Kauffman Foundation's FastTrac Entrepreneurial and a member of the technical staff at the Arizona Business Accelerator.
Madison Avenue veteran Sami brings years of business expertise to the Gitenstein & Assadi PR team. Prior to co-founding Gitenstein & Assadi Public Relations, he worked as a consultant writer and translator for the internationally renowned Burson-Marsteller. Sami has had experience translating and copy writing for global companies such as McDonald Douglas, Westinghouse, ITT and United Technologies. Recently he supervised international media campaigns involving Japan, Europe and the Middle East.
Angela Jamison Angela holds a B.A. in Journalism from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunication. She is in charge of conducting daily research, managing the speaker's bureau and finding new story opportunities for all of the clients. Angela has helped to establish the Children's Center credibility through several stories in the local media. She has also successfully forged new relationships with the Tucson and regional media for Civano. Angela is also responsible for providing quality daily competitive research for Gimme Credit and the handling of its media inquiries.
